Laptop chooser
Three steps: what you need the laptop for, what matters to you, and whether you will connect a monitor. The result is a checklist of specifications – not a specific model. We do not recommend laptops and we do not give prices.

How it calculates
The tool combines your answers with the rules we set out in the guide How to choose a laptop. Its recommendations do not say “buy model X”, but “for your use, look at specification Y, because…”. We only give specific values (e.g. how many GB of memory) where they come from an official source – such as the Windows 11 minimum requirements – or we mark them as approximate.
The charging rules are based on Directive (EU) 2022/2380, the ergonomic recommendations on Slovak Government Regulation No. 276/2006 Coll.
Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is saved, not even in browser storage.
